TEHRAN — Three were killed and 8 injured over a pile-up between 14 cars and a truck on a road linking Pakdasht to Tehran, the Rescue and Relief Organization spokesman said.

The accident occurred around 8 a.m. on Saturday, Fars news agency quoted Mostafa Mortazavi as saying.

Additionally, over a car overturn which took place on Friday on the Qazvin-Zanjan highway 6 got injured, Mortazavi said, adding, one of the passengers who had been trapped inside the car was released by the relief forces in no time and transferred to the hospital.
